The 2009 competition came to a finally on Thursday 26 February 2009 when Kareems – The Restaurant from Rhyl was named Welsh Curry House of the Year 2009.

Congratulations to all the restaurants that were successful this year and made it into the top 20. With 240 restaurants in Wales eligible to take part the finalist should be very proud.
