Mid and West Wales Winner 2011

Second time lucky for Llanelli Restaurant as it aims to take the National Curry crown!

The Festivals Company is pleased to announce that the top Indian Restaurant from Mid & West Wales competing for the title of Welsh Curry House of the Year 2011 is:

  • Sheesh Mahal
    53 Stepney Street, Llanelli. Tel: 01554 773773

“The Sheesh Mahal is no stranger to the popular competition having won the Welsh Curry House of the Year award in 2008. The competition in Mid & West Wales was particularly strong this year with all 5 restaurants who reached the TOP 30 stage receiving very high marks.  Getting into the final stage of the competition is therefore a huge achievement for the Sheesh Mahal,” said Berwyn Rowlands from the Festivals Company who organise the annual event.
