The public vote opened on November 28, 2007 and closes on January 28, 2008. The Top 15 restaurants, five from each of the three regions of North, Mid & West and South Wales will be announced on Monday 4 February 2008.

The judging process is then handed over to the Regional Independent judges who will visit the Top 5 restaurants in each of the three regions. The judges will sample the food, experience the atmosphere and meet the people involved before deciding on the final winner from each region.

The three finalists, one from each region will be announced on Monday 25 February 2008.

The three regional finalists will then battle it out to become Welsh Curry House of the Year 2008 by cooking for the National Independent Jury. The three finalists will be judged on their presentation skills, the taste of their dish and their ability to cope under pressure.

The winner of the Welsh Curry House of the Year 2008 will be announced on Wednesday 12 March 2008 at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay.
